MINUTES from FEBRUARY  21, 2010

    

The meeting was called to order by President Yvonne Knowland. 

Those is attendance were, Yvonne and Rick Knowland, Alayne and Caroline Villarreal, Mary Gregory, Nikki Brashear, Cyndie and Alix Hayden, Linda and her husband, Mary Barkkari, Visha, Mary Lou and her daughter. 

It was voted on and passed that the RGVAHC would become a social club, meeting every three months. It will no longer conduct open shows at this time, but will sponsor an Arabian class with the new Horseman association that is now forming. An end of the year award will be sponsored in the dedication of Marlene Foale. 

New officers for the 2010 year will be as follows: 

President Yvonne Knowland 

President elect  Nikki Brashear

Secretary  Cyndie Hayden

Treasurer  Mary Barkkari

Membership dues will be reduced to a $10.00 local membership fee. 

There is a year end awards banquet scheduled for March 28th at 1:00 pm at Rio Farms in Monte Alto. 

2 High point cash awards will be given. The other class high point awards will be ribbons.
