MINUTES from NOVEMBER 2, 2008

President Yvonne Knowland called the meeting to order after a delicious potluck meal.  Those in attendance were:    Peggy Hyde, Nicky S. Braoneak, Cyndie & Alex Haden, Mary Gregory, Marlene Foale, Yvonne Knowland, Mary Kralovec, Gloria Estrada, Caroline and Alayne Villarreal, Mary Barkkari.   The meeting began with everyone introducing themselves.  A discussion followed regarding the upcoming RGVAHC Show, Nov. 8th.  A plea for volunteers was asked for.  Mary Kralovec offered to help as well as Mary Gregory.  Mary Barkkari mentioned that several had pre-registered for the cancelled show and had notified her that they intended to attend this show.  Alayne suggested we try to establish a 3 minute rule for entry into classes at the show, except for a tack change (which must be requested and gate notified).  After this next show, we need to revamp our show bill and get requests for classes from our  participants.   Mary Barkkari, treasurer, reported the bank statement indicating $851.82 plus pre-entries, showing a balance of $1390.82. Mary B. suggested we reimburse Mary Gregory for our website which leaves a balance of $1325.82.   The meeting was adjourned.     Respectfully submitted     Marlene Foale, Secretary
